My fascination with New York's China Town has to be the amount of lively activity that goes on in this part of town. The ability to find something interesting in such an ordinary place is what I like to describe as the art of observation. It's about how you see things and not what you see.
Most of my shots required patience and the right timing. Your eyes must see a composition and you must know with intuition when to press that shutter. A second too late and that moment is gone forever.
To me, the element of spontaneity and uncertainty is what separates street photography from other categories.
